Data Privacy Statement
Ground-Air Logistics Corporation (“GALCO”), pursuant to R.A. No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (“DPA”), recognizes the importance of the personal information it gathers in the exercise of its operations. GALCO handles the personal information and data in accordance with the DPA, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, other issuances of the National Privacy Commission, and other relevant laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Moreover, GALCO recognizes the importance of your rights as a Data Subject under the DPA.
Thus, this Privacy Policy aims to provide information on how GALCO collects, uses, manages, and secures the personal information gathered by it. Any information provided to GALCO by you indicates your express consent to the GALCO’s Privacy Policy.
Collection of Personal Information
In the performance of GALCO’s services, or as part of its transactions and dealings, the latter collects your personal information which may include, but not limited to, the following:
- Your name, gender, ID details, email address, residence, office, and mailing address, phone numbers, visual recordings, and other information, as part of our transactions and dealings with you.
- Your resume, which includes personal details and your educational background and employment history, when you seek employment with us.
- Your company information, performance, history, and financial and capital, when we engage in business transactions or you partner with us.
- The description of your cargo or commodity, its cargo class, your elected broker, and choice of forwarder.
When you provide information other than your own, you certify that you have obtained the consent and authority of the owner of such information to allow us to disclose and process such information. You are responsible for ensuring that all personal data you submit to us are accurate, complete and up-to-date.
Use of Personal Information
GALCO uses the Personal Information it lawfully gathered in the following ways:
- To facilitate the processing of services availed from GALCO;
- Communicate GALCO’s latest services and events.
- For GALCO to respond to your needs, requests, queries and complaints.
- To comply with the relevant laws, applicable regulations and other legal orders and processes.
- To improve customer experience through products and services based on the feedback from our users.
- Any other related and lawful purpose.
Sharing of Personal Information
GALCO shares the Personal Information it lawfully gathered to the extent that it is reasonable and necessary to:
- Its authorized employees or other personnel handling your transactions or requests.
- Any third-party service provider performing financial, administrative, technical and other ancillary services.
- Government institution and other competent authorities which by law, rules or regulations require GALCO to disclose your personal information.
- Any person or entity contracted by GALCO and who ensures the confidentiality standard we implement and adheres to the DPA.
- Any person in order to carry out functions of public authority, and for collection and further processing pertaining to law enforcement, taxation or other regulatory function.
Retention of Personal Information
GALCO retains your Personal information for only as long as needed to meet the purposes or business needs for which it was collected, as required by contractual agreement, by the DPA, other relevant rules, regulations, and issuances or, where applicable, for the period prescribed by the statute of limitations.
Data collected will be retained in accordance with retention limit set by our standards, industry standards and laws and regulations, unless you request your data to be deleted in GALCO’s database.
Thereafter, your personal information may be anonymized or destroyed. When anonymized for research or statistical purposes, your personal information can and will no longer be associated with you.
Data Protection and Security Measures
GALCO utilizes appropriate organizational, physical, and technical security measures to protect the data it gathers. These security measures guard your personal information from any accidental or unlawful destruction, alteration, and disclosure, as well as against any other unlawful processing.
Among other things, GALCO uses secured servers, firewalls, anti-malware/anti-virus programs, and directs its Information Technology Department to maintain said systems to protect any personal information gathered.
Furthermore, GALCO limits access to personal information only to those duly authorized and only in connection its business needs. Physical security measures such as but not limited to the following are also strictly implemented: physical design of GALCO’s facility, physical arrangement of equipment and furniture, and permissible mode of transfer.
Cookie Settings
A cookie is a small block of data created by a web server while a user is browsing a website and placed on the user’s computer or other device by the user’s web browser. Cookies were designed to remember pieces of information that the user has entered in a certain website.

Revisions, Updates, and Amendments
GALCO may revise, update, or amend its Privacy Policy in order to adhere to new and existing laws affecting the DPA, including any change or improvement it establishes to better secure your personal information. Any updates or changes shall not alter how GALCO handles previously collected personal data without obtaining your consent, unless required by law.
